Man dies in motorcycle crash on I-74 exit ramp | News
UPDATED:Police have released the name of a 28-year-old man who died Wednesday after crashing his motorcycle while exiting onto John Deere Road off of I-74.
Moline Police tell News 8 that Andrew J. Reagan of Bettendorf was headed South on I-74 at around 3:00 p.m. when he lost control of the bike while exiting onto West John Deere Road and slid into the guard rail.
Police say Reagan was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say speed may have contributed to the crash. They continue to investigate and ask any witnesses to call (309) 797-0401.
