Three suspected in burglaries at QC car dealership | Crime

Police think they solved a string of thefts and property damage at three area car dealerships in February.

Ean Curry, 21, of Rock Island; Mason Elliott, 20, of Milan and Rodney Hanneman, 24, of Taylor Ridge were each charged in connection with the case.

Curry, Elliott and Hanneman are accused of cutting a fence at Reynolds Ford on February 12th. Police say they are accused of damaging three vehicles and stealing car parts, wheels and tires.

They are also suspected of burglarizing Green Chevrolet in East Moline on February 3rd and Courtesy Car City in Moline on February 16th. The three were arrested in Rock Island. The East Moline Police Department also served a search warrant at a Rock Island home, where stolen items from multiple burglaries were recovered.

Curry and Hanneman each face one count of burglary and three counts of criminal damage to property. Curry was held in the Rock Island County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond.  Hanneman was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Elliott was charged with one count of burglary.  He was held in the Rock Island County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

The charges are only related to the crimes at Reynold Ford. Police say more charges could be filed as the other crimes are investigated.
